This humidity is ridiculous...

I just got back from what was supposed to be a 4 mile run....I ended it at 3.6. I didn't even pay attention to my time. It felt like I was suffocating out there today. Sure, some of it is the humidity, but I have a feeling it also has to do with making up for not working out all week and feeling out of shape! It was a bit discouraging. I guess, again, I need to give myself some room for this kind of stuff, being out of town all week...Plus I have been eating like crazy and feel sluggish...

Tomorrow morning is the marathon group run at 6am at the Capitol. I am dreading it a little because of today's performance. I need to start at 6 miles, if I can do it. I've been doing 5 for my last 3 long runs. I still haven't had time to go out to the new Balance store and have my shoes fit for orthotic insoles. I dread the drive all the way out to Cantrell (especially with gas going up to 4.50 a gallon) and spending $200 on the stupid things. Still, I think (and hope) it will be worth it. Hopefully, it won't rain tomorrow morning. I 'm not ready to run in the rain yet!! Updates to come....

you'll do fine tomorrow, don't worry about it, you've done 5 in a row, it's time for 6, the rain will hold off, I hope, but I'm taking my hat just in case. And $200 for inserts? No way!! Go to foot solutions instead, it's off Bowman, you'll spend around 75. I wear them because I have really high arches and can't run without them. Buck up, you'll do great!
